Core concepts
Tools and actions
Trigger calendar, CRM and your own endpoints mid-conversation.
Tools are the difference between an agent that gives information and one that gets something done.
Ready-made integrations
Connect your calendar and CRM under Integrations in a few clicks. After that, actions such as reading free slots, booking an appointment or creating a contact are available.
Your own endpoints
If you need something of your own, register a URL the agent calls during the conversation. It receives the fields you define and returns what the agent should say.
Response time
A tool holds the conversation for as long as it takes to answer. Anything over two seconds is heard as silence. If your system is slower, return a provisional answer and finish the work afterwards.
Failures
A tool that fails must not end the call. Define what the agent says when no answer arrives, usually a promise to call back rather than a guessed appointment.
Never return more data from a tool than the agent is allowed to say out loud. Whatever it receives, it can say.
