23 industry systems for hotels, trades, law firms and pharmacies
Until now this site covered the generic layer: calendars, CRM, telephony, helpdesk. A hotel, a trade business or a law firm found nothing in it that speaks their language. That changes here.

Measured against our own industry pages the gap was obvious: veterinary practices had two vertical systems, pharmacies three, physiotherapy four. Hotels, trades and law firms had none at all.

Why four separate categories and not one
Because the phone call differs, not just the vendor. In a hotel it is a reservation, in the trades it is a building site, in a law firm it is a matter and a deadline, in a pharmacy it is whether the box is on the shelf. Each category therefore carries its own account of what gets synchronised and what the agent is allowed to touch at all.
Veterinary and physiotherapy software deliberately run on the existing practice-software logic instead: the conversation at the front desk is the same one.
Pharmacy software gets no category page for now. Four systems sit below the threshold at which such a page is more than a list with a heading. The same rule kept CRM and helpdesk waiting until there was enough to say.
Two vendors that changed the selection
Research turned up two candidates that were only still correct historically:
- HS3 Hotelsoftware was acquired by Mews in 2024, so it is not a row of its own but part of Mews.
- TopKontor Handwerk is supported by blue:solution only until the end of 2026, with customers being moved to its successor. What is connected is therefore smarthandwerk. A page for a product being retired would have been out of date on the day it was published.
Two of 23 candidates, then, where the familiar name would have been the wrong one. Checking vendor names before writing stays part of the job.
