How it connects
- Sign-in with your Calendly account via OAuth 2.1, with the scopes availability:read for open times, scheduled_events:read to look bookings up again and scheduled_events:write to book and cancel through the Scheduling API.
- A paid Calendly plan, Standard or above. On the Free plan Calendly refuses bookings made through the Scheduling API.
- An event type with duration, availability and invitee questions set up. Required questions must be answered for a booking to go through.
Not part of the connection
- Event types, availability rules and workflows stay in Calendly for you to manage.
- Calendly Contacts and Notetaker recaps
Good to know
- Calendly needs an email address and time zone for every booking. Without an email there is no booking.
- Calendly's API has no call for rescheduling. Instead, Calendly provides a reschedule link (reschedule_url) for every booking, which the guest can use themselves.
- Calendly caps API bookings: on paid plans below Enterprise, 100 per user per day.

No. Calendly only allows Scheduling API bookings on paid plans from Standard up and rejects them on Free.
Yes. Calendly says notifications, calendar invites and workflows run as if the meeting had been booked on the Calendly page.
Calendly requires one for every booking. The confirmation and invite go there, and it is how elunos.ai finds the booking again later.
Yes. Open times, length and questions come from the event type. Required questions are asked on the call, because Calendly rejects the booking otherwise.
It can cancel them in Calendly. The API offers no reschedule call, but Calendly provides a reschedule link (reschedule_url) for every booking.
Calendly limits API bookings. On paid plans below Enterprise it allows 10 a minute, 50 an hour and 100 a day per user.
